Hiking at the Irvine Ranch Conservancy

Several people have emailed us, asking how they can hike at the Irvine Ranch Conservancy lands that are only accessible via guided/supervised hikes. Click HERE for their general website.

Here is a little information about the Conservancy from their website: The vision of the Irvine Ranch Conservancy is to protect the natural resources of the wild lands and parks on The Irvine Ranch, while encouraging people to connect with and experience the land in appropriate ways. To implement this vision, we work with landowners and other partners on innovative programs that are firmly grounded in science and adaptive management. Together through collaborative stewardship projects and strategic resource management programs we are realizing a shared vision of conservation excellence.

The Irvine Ranch Conservancy offers a variety of Hiking Programs, Trail Running Programs, Evening/Night Hiking Programs, Interpretive Programs, Mountain Biking Programs, Equestrian Programs and General Wilderness Access Programs for all to do. Click HERE for the link to their schedule of hiking programs. They have information on who to contact to go hiking in the Irvine Ranch Conservancy Lands. The activities are offered by a variety of organizations and their dedicated volunteers. These activities are guided or supervised programs. Many locations are open daily for self-guided access as well (excluding Bommer Canyon).
