Great time to Visit Local Waterfalls

With a new weather system forecast to move in this Friday to Saturday, this might be an excellent weekend to go visit some of our local waterfalls. Weather.com has said:

A DEVELOPING PACIFIC STORM IS FORECAST TO HIT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA THIS WEEKEND... AND PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY... WITH HEAVY SNOW IN THE MOUNTAINS. UNSETTLED WEATHER CONDITIONS SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY WILL PRODUCE ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND POSSIBLE THUNDERSTORMS.
STORM TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS FOR FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY ARE CURRENTLY FORECAST TO RANGE FROM OVER AN INCH AT THE COAST TO AROUND THREE INCHES ALONG THE COASTAL SLOPES... AND BETWEEN A QUARTER TO A HALF INCH OVER THE DESERTS.
In other words, it might be a great time to go see some waterfalls or just get out for a hike to enjoy the views. The visibility after a storm system moves through is amazing. It is one of the best times to hit the trails after a storm system passes.
