O.C. Parks is having an event this Saturday, March 26 from 9am - 12pm, at Mile Square Park. The event will feature activities geared to inspire the family to spend time outside. The event highlights the parks 20 acre natural area. The event features naturalist led walks through the nature area which has native plant and a butterfly gardens. The event will also feature nature crafts, live animals, as well as other fun activities. There is no cost for the program and you don't have to RSVP (Just Show Up). Cost to park is $5 per car.
It is good to see a focus on the events at the natural area at Mile Square Park, as this place is perfect to take the kids to enjoy some outdoor fun and to get them exposed to the natural settings around us.
