Here, are two pictures of a Bobcat that I saw while hiking at the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary this week. Sorry for the lack of quality pictures, but these pictures were taken with an old cell phone camera. It is estimated that between 30 and 50 bobcats roam the San Juaquin Hills. This particular Bobcat, probably weighed about 20 - 25 pounds. It is amazing to see that the wildlife corridors that connect the open spaces in our area, appear to work because you can find wildlife very close to the urban core of Orange County.
