Planters Nutrition Energy Mix Peanut Butter (Product Review)

Recently the folks at Planters sent us some of their new Nutrition Energy Mix Peanut Butter to do a review on our site. Ashley and I chose to do this review as 9 times out of 10 we pack a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to eat while on our hikes, so we were very excited to do this review and were even more excited to find their new Nutrition Energy Mix Peanut Butter is excellent!

About Planters Nutrition Energy Mix From the Manufacture: Planters Nutrition Energy Mix peanut butter is nutrient dense and a good source of energy, providing 6-7 grams of protein per serving and at least 5 vitamins and minerals, depending on the variety of Planters Nutrition Energy Mix Peanut Butter you get. Planters Nutrition Energy Mix comes in three different varieties; Mix Banana Granola Nut, Mix Berry Nut, and Cinnamon Raisin Granola Nut. Their standard size jar is 12 ounces and an average retail price is $3.99 in stores.

Our Review: Both Ashley and I gave Planters Nutrition Energy Mix Peanut Butter two thumbs up and thought it tasted excellent. We tasted the Cinnamon Raisin Granola Nut brand and loved the taste of it. You can definitely taste the cinnamon which adds a great extra flavor to the peanut butter. Additionally, the raisins and the granola make this product burst with even more flavor and texture that you can taste in your peanut butter and jelly sandwich. In our opinion the taste is way better than just ordinary peanut butter and jelly. So if you are looking for some new flavors while hiking you should try Planters new Energy Mix Peanut Butter. So next time you are at your grocery store you should consider this if you are looking for a twist on the traditional PB&J sandwich for your next hike.

  2. I am not a peanut butter fan at all, but I tried a sample of this in my local Walmart spread on a Belvita breakfast biscuit and it was amazing.
