Merry Christmas from our Family to Yours (Christmas Giveaway)

Merry Christmas from our family to yours! This year Ashley and I are going to do something different and are going to do a little giveaway of our own. We bought an extra copy of 50 Hikes in Orange County to giveaway to one of our readers and are going to do a little contest and will mail the winner a copy of the book. We have posted a picture from a hike that we have done recently (Hint: it may or may not already be on our blog).

Here are the details for your chance to win.  First you need to guess what animal is pictured in the picture above, click to enlarge if you need too! Second you need to guess where the picture was taken.  So guess what animal and where. Whoever guesses what animal is pictured above and were the picture was taken will win! If there is any need for a tie breaker, who ever guesses both correctly first will win. Guesses can be done as comments to this picture or on our Facebook page or email. If no one correctly guesses the location whoever first guesses the animal will win. The contest will run through December 27 at 6:00pm. Good luck and Merry Christmas!

  5. Rohan, James, Amanda, and Susan the correct answer was Bobcat in the Chino Hills State Park. Thank you all for trying! Unfortunately, since no one got it exactly correct we had to go with the first person to guess Bobcat and that goes to Jodi on our Facebook page who guessed bobcat on December 25, 2012 at 11:39am. Stay tuned for more giveaways as we have another coming up soon!

Ashley and I encourage and welcome our readers to submit comments about their experiences on the trails we have posted on our blog or about their own hiking experiences in general.
