OC PARKS PRESENTS 2ND ANNUAL WHITING RANCH POKER RIDE
Winning hands receive prizes in this unique mountain bike experience October 12

(Foothill Ranch, Calif.) – OC Parks, in partnership with Oakley, is pleased to present the second annual Whiting Ranch Poker Ride, a special mountain bike event through Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park on Saturday, October 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Participants can challenge themselves on the trails by selecting a route that fits their riding skills and visit poker checkpoints along the way. After visiting each checkpoint, riders will receive their poker hand at the finish line. The riders with the best poker hands will be awarded prizes from Oakley and other participating cycle partners.

A vendor village will be set up at the Glenn Ranch staging area finish line. Various mountain bike companies will be exhibiting gear and hosting demonstrations. Local outdoors-focused organizations will have trail and program information. Vendors and organizations exhibiting include Oakley, Irvine Ranch Conservancy, SHARE Mountain Bike Club, Trail Angels Mountain Bike Club, Ride for Rwanda, The Path, OC Bike Garage, The Bike Co., Rock & Road, and Cleveland National Forest among others. Food trucks Piaggio on Wheels, A Bite Truck and Kona Ice OC will be serving savory and sweet items on-site.
