Acorn Day Returns to O'Neill Regional Park

ACORN DAY RETURNS
TO O’NEILL REGIONAL PARK OCT. 4

(Trabuco Canyon, CA) – OC Parks welcomes back Acorn Day at O’Neill Regional Park on Saturday, October 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event offers hikes, activities and nature exhibits designed to re-introduce families to the great outdoors.

Acorn Day presents ranger-led hikes and interpretive programs for families as well as crafts, games, tree planting, story telling and a puppet show for children. Live animals will be on exhibit with a petting zoo. Other booths will include Inside the Outdoors, Western Monarch Guardians and SoCal Bluebird Club. Various presentations will be going on throughout the event, including acorn processing from Naturalist for You.

Reserve a campsite and stay at the park for the entire day to truly enjoy the magic of nature at Acorn Day at O’Neill Regional Park.

  1. I went to O'Neill Regional Park before my tour west coast with my family and we enjoyed there camping and picnic. There were a large number of oak and sycamore trees surrounded by hills. The interesting things in this park were lush greenery, long hiking trail and camping facility. I always recommend to my friends to visit the O'Neill Regional Park.
