The National Parks Americas Best Idea (Book Review)

The National Parks Americas Best Idea was a gift given to me by Ashley this past Christmas. It is a great book and is very comprehensive in its explanations of how America came to have national parks and how those national parks have impacted the country itself. The authors of the book recount the adventures, myth-making, and intense political battles behind the park system and the ideals that fostered its growth. It is a great read and is very educational. I would highly recommend it as a book to read.
