Wildflowers and Wild Foods Hike

This hike looked interesting and I am sure some of our readers will be interested to learn about local wildflowers and local Edible plants. This hike is put on by the Laguna Canyon Foundation and a reservation is required. I have posted the information below.  Please call them to reserve your spot.

May 1, Sat., 9 a.m.-noon: Wildflowers and Wild Foods Hike: Learn about edible and useful plants on this moderate, but steep, uneven and rocky, 2.4-mile hike (100-ft. elevation gain) with Laguna Canyon Foundation volunteer naturalists. Location: Aliso & Wood Canyons Wilderness Park, Canyon View Staging Area, Gate 7 (from southbound Aliso Creek Road, turn right on Glenwood [turns into Pacific Park] and right on Canyon Vistas to Canyon View Park). Reservations required: 949-923-2235. Donation: $2/person.
