One of the blogs that we look at is the Puente Hills Nature Blog which is a the nature blog for the Puente Hills Landfill Native Habitat Preservation Authority. The Puente Hills Nature Blog recently had an interesting article on the effects of rodenticides on bobcats that we thought our readers might want to look at. The article discussed the problem with bobcats (and other carnivores) eating animals that have consumed anticoagulant rodenticides. The article on the Puente Hills Nature blog provided a link to information on a UCLA study that is examining the effects of rodenticides and mange in bobcat populations.
