Hike and a Concert: OC Parks Summer Concert Series

For those of you out there that might want to combine a hike with a concert (or just relax in an outdoor setting and listen to a concert), here is your chance. The folks at OC Parks have a concert series planned for every Wednesday night in Mason Regional Park and Irvine Regional Park from July 27 through August 31. OC Parks is pleased to announce the 2011 outdoor summer concert series. Mason Regional Park and Irvine Regional Park will be presenting concerts every Wednesday night from 6:30 to 8 p.m., July 27 through August 31, featuring acclaimed rock, pop, soul and R&B bands from Southern California.

Artists performing at Mason Regional Park in Irvine include urban soul and jazz trio DW3 on July 27, sounds of the seventies with Vintage on August 3, and classic soul and Motown group Stone Soul on August 10. Irvine Regional Park in Orange will present the popular tribute band Suave on August 17, the roots music Los Fabulocos featuring Kid Ramos on August 24, and Latin favorite Barela on August 31. 

All concerts are free and open to the public of all ages. Bring your family and enjoy live music under the stars with OC Parks this summer.
