Orange County Register had a great article on the Mountain Lions that inhabit the local Santa Ana Mountains in Southern California. Walter Boyce of the
Wildlife Health Center at
UC Davis, was back in town continuing his research on our local population of Mountain Lions. For those of you wildlife enthusiasts this article is both education and fun to read. Hopefully we can maintain large enough portions of natural lands in our area so that the local Mountain Lion population in the Santa Ana Mountains will continue to be around for future generations.
